2491tj 2008-03-26 18:44	jettalover wrote Why was the fifth and sixth wheel necessary? earlier ,similar german vehicles were built on existing 6x4 truck chassis (tatra,praga etc)..the G4 was just a carry on from that..but was made from the ground up as a heavy personnel car with a purpose built chassis..its 6x4 configurarion, meaning the front wheels were not powered..the back 4 were powered.
