Round rear window - maybe 1929 Pontiac? |

Agree ,this is a Pontiac as judged by the spoke wheels .It is a 1929 or 1930 Pontiac 6-30 A or 6-30 B, those were almost the same with the exception of a more slanted windshield and new brakes in 1930 , not visible here. The other 2 early thirties light cars with round rear window were the 1931 Essex Challenger that had different hood louvres and Plymouth PA ( wire wheels) |

Is "6-30" the model name, or is it "Pontiac Six" with 30 being some additional number (meaning what?) -- Last edit: 2008-03-21 15:38:42 |

There was no 6-30A. The carry over model with the non sloping windshield referred to was the 6-29A. This car is a 1930 as it has the half round beading around the body. -- Last edit: 2010-07-10 10:56:55 |
