antp ◊ 2008-03-21 15:48	The Escort mk1 is indeed from 1968, but as said on Wikipedia: The first use of the Ford Escort name was in the 1950s for an estate car version of the Ford Anglia 100E though this had few sales by comparison to the other members of the 100E family.
