Fitted with a HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) Group A body kit. Genuine Group A VLs were silver and were homologation specials to qualify the VL COmmodore for Group A racing. They are commonly known as "Walkinshaw" Commodores because Tom Walkinshaw had a large part in their design and engineering, and he is still part owner today of HSV. They were also called Plastic Pigs due to the massive body kits.
