On the right it is /vehicle_163130-Cadillac-1965.html maybe? And on the left /vehicle_163126-Cadillac-1957.html ? -- Last edit: 2008-03-18 17:27:50 |

Right one yes, left one, no. The one in that link isn't a hearse, and this one was made before 1957. In fact, I don't even think it's a 1956. -- Last edit: 2008-03-23 00:59:19 |

I have no doubt: This is a 1954 Pontiac (!) Standard Funeral Coach by Superior. Hints: The rear side window, the triangular shaped dip of the chrome molding below the rear side window, the absence of fender skirts (these were optional), the position of the rear lights, the chrome molding on the body which not joining the rear fender... And the picture in my book which I´m not going to scan. Edit: But I can provide a bad picture, instantly taken with my camera (picture looks a bit crappy, because it´s too dark here...) -- Last edit: 2008-03-21 01:44:13 |

Do you have any production figures? There couldn't have been that many... Have any survived? Well one did anyway! [rethinks question while looking at film capture--Duh!] -- Last edit: 2008-06-07 16:42:19 |
