pretty sure we've had one of these custom cadillac pick-ups before on the site?

This is not a flower car, but a recreational vehicle, for sure! There were numerous body shops offering these El-Camino-like fashion pick ups on Coupe/ Sedan de Ville chassis, e. g. Traditional Coach Works, ACC (American Custom Coachworks), Wisco etc.

In this case I´m pretty sure it´s the "Caribou" by "American Built Cars, Inc." of San Francisco, which featured a complete fiberglass shell from the windshield to the rear bumper.

So, I´d list it as "197? Cadillac Coupe de Ville "Caribou" Pick Up by American Built Cars" (if there´s enough space ;) )

I guess we can wait for precise model year when someone post a better picture. :)

Wouldn't "197? Cadillac 'Custom'" be more appropriate? Since we're never going to find out the coachbuilder, and it would enable all these one-off creations to be grouped together.
