| The designation "Uno Mille" appeared with the release of the version equipped with 1,0 liter engine in 1990 ("Mille" is "a thousand" in Italian, designation of the cylinder capacity of the engine, 1.000 cm³). Then Mille Electronic came (with electronic ignition) and even air conditioning. In the sequence the car won versions: Mille ELX (more luxurious) later renamed EP (Extra Power) with the use of electronic injection, Mille ie (more simple), Mille SX... with the time it lost the designation "Uno", but it is the evolution of the same car. The superior versions were substituted with the arrival of Palio. Today it continues to be manufactured with the name Mille Fire, always with the motor 1,0 liter flex, and aesthetic modifications. |
