Don't exist Chevrolet LUV in brazilian market. Certainly this is a Chevrolet Blazer (or S10 pickup version). -- Last edit: 2008-03-10 19:29:25 |

I am almost sure that is Chevrolet Blazer because it is a car of the police that needs space to lead the prisoners. I, particularly, never saw S10 being used by the Police Civil or Military. Just for firemen or Forest Police. |

This vehicle is not an US origin. Locally design? |
|

Yes. Design (front style and lateral) and mechanics (gasoline and diesel engines - except the 4,3 V6 Vortec) by Chevrolet do Brasil. |

The front end of the brazilian Chevrolet Blazer (and S10) is just like the japanese Isuzu Hombre, the only difference is the Chevy bow tie on the grille (well, in the case of this "PM" Blazer, that emblem is not there...). -- Last edit: 2008-03-12 14:43:58 |

Yes Vinni. Isuzu imported the front components from Chevrolet do Brasil between 1996 and 2000. |

Hi, Leganza. I don't knew this info. I've a friend who has a 4.3 V6 Vortec extended cab S10 and he told me his pickup was the only S10 version imported from the US, but it came to Brazil without the front end and was given the made in Brazil face. |

Hi Vinni. Yes, there is some north - American S10 in Brazil (Besides I already saw a Blazer with the front of the USA), but I think is treated of independent import. In USA Chevrolet didn't use the front created by the Brazilian engineering, just Isuzu exactly to differ of the " cousin " Chevrolet. |
