I didn't believe it at first, but this appears to be a 1958 Cadillac. |

What a beauty! I love 1958 Cadillacs. The funny two-tone paint job is seen in full glory here: Link to "www.northlandpcs.com" I think the car shown here is a combination either. So I´d call it a 1958 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Futura Landau Combination. |

"Animatrtonixx" is almost right. It's not the "Futura" but the "Crestwood" landau funeral car from Miller-Meteor, with imitation wood grain side trim and crinkle roof finish. It does have the same wraparound rear corner windows as the "Futrura" models. |

I´m really not sure if this is a Crestwood (which is in fact a limited edition model, based on the Futura Landau). ![]() Does anybody think he can spot some imitation woodgrain trim on the lower rear fender area below the chrome molding? If so, it would be the ultra-rare Miller-Meteor Crestwood Landau, which was so special that its availability was limited to only one funeral director in any locality in any model year. And: Do you think the roof is painted or crinkle finished (which would be another hint for the Crestwood)? On the other hand, it seems to have no Crestwood style drapes and can easily be just a bespoke two-toned Futura Landau. I need your opinions. Otherwise we can leave it like it is. -- Last edit: 2008-03-05 23:52:33 |

Not a Crestwood... Futura Landaus were available with or without the extra chrome molding, and could have a single-tone, two-tone or three-tone paint job! |
