Years late, but I have some information about the truck in the picture, it's quite interesting. :)

This is a "Texmaco Perkasa" Truck, made by PT Wahana Perkasa Auto Jaya, a subsidiary of the Texmaco Group which specializes in the textile industry. In the picture, you can make out some of the letters of the "PERKASA" lettering on its front fascia.

The body is licensed from Leyland UK (T45 Series), the engine got two options, its either Steyr (Austria) WD612/WD602 or Cummins, the transmission is from Germany (ZF Friedrichshafen) & the axles are from Steyr or Eaton (US). The truck first appeared to the public in 1999 at JCC - Jakarta Convention Center. There is also a prototype named "Laskar" that used a cabin licensed from DAF. Plus there is a base for the local coachbuilding company to build it to a full-blown bus (B07B, B07Bi & B07BiS Turbo). Sumber Alam bus company is known to have some units in their bus service lineup.

Despite its availability for the public, the truck is mainly bought by the Indonesian Army & police force, some were still in service to this day. Some units also had been exported to Saudi Arabia.

Another Texmaco product is the smaller truck (Light Duty Class) with a Steyr WD412 engine.

The Texmaco Group is no longer in business, in fact the company being hit harshly from the 1997 monetary crisis & 1998 reformation. Because of debts, the company was filed for bankruptcy at 2004. A year before, at 15 August 2003, Marimutu Manimaren, one of the company boss (and also a politician at the Golkar Party) found dead after taking his own life, jumping from the 56th floor at Aston Hotel Jakarta. Many believes its not a suicid3, but a murd3r. Take it with a grain of salt though.

Later, some hope for its future came, the assets were bought including the Perkasa Truck and later renamed to the "PT44 Maesa", now built exclusively for the Indonesian army. It passed the certification test, but "something" happened in the process and its just cancelled altogether. The army later purchases Hino & Isuzu trucks for their lineup, final nail in the coffin for the Perkasa :(
