Grand Civic and Nouva is just a nickname for the car (which a very popular trend among car manufacturers and the public during the 1970s, 80s and 90s). Also, if you find any other Honda codes specific to certain markets let me know. I always try and compile complete lists of these codes in case 'Big Brother' decides to take everything down @redboy9199 I know other markets had this bumper for 1990-1991 but was this true for RI?

You got it, I also have more chassis codes. The EF sedan has its own chassis code as well, the chassis code for the sedan in South East Asia is SH4. And yes, I can confirm that Indonesia received updated bumpers in 1990 however this is a pre-facelift 1988-1990 model which can be determined by the headlamps with orange indicators instead of the headlamps with clear indicators for 1990. RushCars24ID ◊ 2025-09-20 06:30	I say Civic Nouva without 'Grand' prefix at the start would be the more appropriate model name for 1988. Don't think Imora Motor didn't start applying that prefix to the hatch prior to 1989.

The hatchback version wouldn't be known as the Nouva until it would receive its official name of Grand Civic Nouva for 1989. All 1988-1989 SH3s and 4s were known as the Grand Civic but the SH4 sedan received the sole LX trim until it was removed for 1990.
