No, sorry chicomarx, but there is no way to tell using only this image. Perhaps if one could see the roof support pillars through the rear glass we could see the shape of the windscreen post and be able to see if there was a center pillar or how many doors if this was a sedan. Since there is no trim on the license plate bracket, that may be an indicator of model. Would need a philr, pilou, mrcadillac, or nz_carnerd level of expertise and, in any case, that license plate trim piece could have vanished after 12 or 13 years. You would be right, Mackster! This is a model 56R. The Special Riviera has a different shape to the rear windscreen. See here Interesting to note there was no 4-door Riviera in the Super series of 1955. |
