We don't currently have any Albions tagged as built in ZA, but it was Leyland-owned after 1951 and Blackheath factory opened in 1955 producing lots of Leyland trucks and buses before adding BMC cars. |

The wheelbase looks longer than I initially thought so likely to be 160" rather than the normal 141" which lowers the weight capacity to either 3½-Ton or 2½-Ton the only difference being the tyre size and as its an export market its possibly the heavier option here I guess. Claymore 3½-Ton FT27. |
