This one was windows on one side and panel on the other. I think Ford used to call them "Display" vans. So it's actually a Tradesman rather than a Sportsman. ![]() ![]() |

Yes night cub. Ford did. Never saw Dodge or GM utilize this configuration. Very neat find! Maybe the brochures will shed some light on the nomenclature. |

For quick note about the Tradesman & Sportsman. Sportsman: 8–15 seater windowed passenger van, also popular with Class C RV. Tradesman: 2 seater commercial van, can also be custom order both non-windowed & windowed van (just no seats at the back). It also very popular with conversion van & Class B RV. Because of the two-tone paint (white on top and grey-green on bottom), I can guarantee this was a retired Bell System telephone van. The stripes, logos, and lettering have been removed. |
