G-MANN ◊ 2010-01-25 18:54	In a flashback scene near the end of the film, we see when Jean-Dominique Bauby (Mathieu Amalric) had his stroke, while he was out for a ride in his new Jaguar XJS with his son. The stroke occurs quite suddenly, he pulls over and his son runs out to get help, his foot pins down the accelerator pedal, the engine (in neutral) whines as the revs increase. He is riding in an ambulance when he spots a Jaguar just like his, which brings on the memory of his stroke.
