| Actually it is not used in the movie, so I do not really know what is its use and why it is visible in that scene. They only use the red thing to create a tunnel to the bank reserve. |

| I think the arm is used a ramp so the dump trucks can go down the big hole in the street which leads to the vault, so they can load the gold bars into the trucks. |
