With that square logo, I'd say it's only a 1966. -- Last edit: 2008-02-13 14:52:06 |

(00:32:13 // 00:35:39) I'm not sure: it seems to be the short wheelbase (115"/2.92 m) of the "small" ½-ton 1000 model, but the medium one (127"/3.23 m: ½-ton "long" 1000 model and standard ¾-ton 1500 one) could be an option too... If short 1000 model, then it has the 1001 GMC internal code (1002 or 1502 code for the 2 others, but there is almost nothing to tell one from the other). -- Last edit: 2015-01-11 00:58:04 |

It is the long wheelbase version. |

Long bed 1/2 ton 2wd. The hub caps would not fit over a 3/4 ton rear axle. IFS. eLMer can give the appropriate C series 1/2 ton number code for those years. |

What means IFS? The codes are given just above: being a 1960-66 2WD ½-ton 1000 truck on the medium (i.e. n°2) wheelbase gives it a... 1002 code, whatever the body or bed is By the way, we forgot the Wide-Side bed option (the GMC equivalent of the Fleetside). Trim seems to be the Custom one (without chrome). Is everybody Ok for a ⇒ 1966 GMC 1000 Wide-Side [1002]? -- Last edit: 2015-02-23 01:56:57 |
