According to the November 2007 issue of "Classic and Sports Car" magazine, this Steve McQueen's driven 911 is a 1970 911 S. McQueen had a 1969 similar car in the US, but he shipped there this one too. It seems that he sold it not long after, keeping the 1969 one. |

Sold in August for 1.375 $ in Pebble Beach. http://www.autoweek.com/article/20110820/CARNEWS/110829999 @stu: as written in the actial "Oldtimer Markt", it was an Euro-spec car, given to Steve McQueen by Porsche for the usage during the make. Later on he took the car with him back to the USA and has sold it shortly later. |
