Hmmm who is right? You know Cadillacs, Animatronixx knowns hearses... (or is Landaulet just a model type rather than a model name?) -- Last edit: 2008-02-17 00:26:18 |

If I write "Superior Landaulet" instead of "Superior Sovereign Landaulet", it´s pretty much the same like writing "Honda Accord Station Wagon" instead of "Honda Accord EX 2.0i Kat Aerodeck". Landaulet is the Superior-term for Landau coaches in general and the car is based on the commercial chassis, of course. To refine my identification: It´s a Sovereign Landaulet. To cut it (very) short: The Superior Crown models carried a "crown" in shape of a chrome bow molding across the roof. The Royale models had rear quarter windows, and the Crown Royale had both features and additional chrome trim on the rear fenders. None of these features can be seen on the hearse shown above, so it´s the rather inexpensive Sovereign in it´s Landaulet version. (Don´t blame me if I once write something completely different about an earlier or later Superior hearse - it depends on the model year and on the base vehicle ). |
