Badge at top of front fender should be Custom (Custom 500 was on rear fender). Ford's police packages in 1965 had different names depending on what engine was fitted: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" Deputy = Police Special Six Sentinel = 289ci V-8 Guardian = 352ci V-8 Cruiser = 390ci V-8, 300 hp Interceptor = 390ci V-8, 330 hp Badge behind the wheelwell should indicate a V-8 model. |
