Called VAZ in Russia. Lada is the export name for the VAZ derivated from that Fiat 124.

Actually no. If we want to use such codes, according to: http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/fiatdaten_pb50.htm all 124 sedans/wagons were [124A] (well it is actually type of engine, but we alredy used such codes in case of other Fiats/cars, it can be useful). S/Specials were 124B. Similar like with 125, where Specials were also a 125B.

This is a Fiat 124 and not a Lada or Vaz: look at the badge and at the overriders, tipically Fiat 124 I series. Maybe it could have been assembled in Egipt or Morocco ?!
