dsl ◊ 2021-05-22 21:02	Same question surfaced here but not pursued to a conclusion. 138AS must have come from somewhere, but I know not where it started.
Bux_48 ◊ 2021-05-22 23:45	Chassis code for the X1/9 should indeed be [128AS] being based on the 128, especially for these early ones with 1300 engine. [138AS] and [138BS] were respectively for the 1500 and the US specs. In the VINs anyway they seem to be always identified with 128AS, like the one linked by dsl
