mm ◊ 2005-12-18 15:26	The front part could be one of those Mercedes-Benz 207 with rounded nose from the earlier 70s. Don't know who made the back and stair part.

Alexander ◊ 2006-02-22 19:23	The base vehicle started life as a Hanomag and is known as the 'Harburger Transporter'. In 1965 Hanomag took over Vidal & Sohn who produced the Tempo Matador transporter in Hamburg-Harburg. The model we see here is based on the Matador E and was first introduced in 1967. In 1969 Hanomag and Henschel, both belonging to Rheinstahl, were merged and from then on the name Hanomag-Henschel was used. In 1970 Mercedes-Benz took over the control and from then on the transporters were also sold as Mercedes-Benz. The models were Hanomag / Hanomag-Henschel F20, F25, F30 and F35 (1967/1969 - 1975) and the badge engineered Mercedes-Benz L 206 D, L 207, L 306 D and L 307 (1970 - 1977). The Mercedes-Benz and Hanomag-Henschel models can be distinguished by the badges on the front (difficult in this picture) and by the shape of the wheelhubs. These are Hanomag-Henschel type wheelhubs. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harburger_Transporter It is a bit difficult to say which model this one is based on. The gangway looks heavy plus the weight of, lets say, a dozen pasengers asks for the model with higher load capacity. Therefore I will use F35.

ALAIN ◊ 2009-07-21 02:56	This frame is an HANOMAG,HANOMAG HENSCHEL F20 ( size of the wheels) produce from 1967 TO 1969 (dash board short nose,flat turn light) before mercedes control.
