Actually there were Aveling-Barford steam powered Road Rollers, but in far smaller numbers compared to those under the Aveling & Porter name. Production went into the 1950s.

But this one is the Aveling & Porter 5 n.h.p. 10 ton Road Roller, Works-No.5124, Reg.No. [NO 754] from 1902.
