John68 ◊ 2013-04-14 18:06	The front grill looks light colored to me and not black. The -600 series tractors had black front grilles and were produced from 1975 (midyear) to 1980 or 81. Most of the 7600 tractors have the 268 turbo diesel, and not the 256 diesel. You can tell by the location of the exhaust pipe that it is a 256 4cyl diesel, because the 268 diesel exhaust pipe is located closer to the air cleaner. This is not true on all, but, coupled with the other details about the front grill, I'd be more inclined to think 7000. The cab and rear fenders, coupled with the fact that it is an "all-purpose" and not "row crop" indicate that it is a UK built, UK model Ford 7000. Having said that, the Ford 7000 was produced from 1971-1975 and was an extremely popular tractor. Hope this helps.
