First on the site, as far as I can tell. I assume it is a hatchback.

I think the "hatchback" designation implies that the decklid fully opens ( rear window included ). In this case, and even if it has a "fastback" line, there's only a bootlid that doesn't include the rear window. In my opinion, this is a fastback two-door saloon.

The Dodge 1800 was introduced in April 1973. In 1974 was launched the SE version, but judging by its trim I don't think this is one. Perhaps there were some details that differentiated the 1974 from the 1973 model.

Yes, Chris!

This model in Brazil was called "Dodge 1800" until 1975. Between 1976 and 1981 (end of production) was called "Dodge Polara".

There are a argentine version too, the Dodge 1500 (in this country, it was also produced by... Volkswagen!!!): http://www.clubdel1500.com.ar/

Obrigadinho, Grigorevski :D ... and thanks for the link, too. I owned two Avengers, both about eight or nine years old when I bought them, and from the look of the Argentinian Dodges/Volkswagens they were much better made than the originals; probably the Brazilian ones were too.

Hatch not sedan

Definitely not hatch - see earlier comments. I don't know Brazilian trim dates but suspect this one is 1977 or later as the rear light design did not appear in UK until Oct 76.
