Valiant. About 1962, I´d say. |

Nah, 1962 Dodge Lancer. |

I believe all early Dodge Lancers had a slight dip down on the door end of the accent ridge. I think this is a Plymouth Valiant that has had a grille replacement among other things. Comments?? |

Maybe a Mexican version? |

I still think it is a Valiant because of that front fender ridge. Here is a Lancer - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/ce/62Lancer.jpg Here is a Valiant - Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" |

In the US Lancers never had that grille...it's a 1962 Valiant. Not sure about Mexico. |

Definitely a 1962 Valiant. Lancers had a point in the nose similar to mid 70s Darts, while Valiants were flat |

In the October 2007 issue of Collectible Automobile (Volume 24, number 3) in the "Collectible Comments" section there's a picture of a Mexico-only 1962 Valiant "Acapulco." Aside from a Valiant Signet grille it looks just like this one. |

I think the Acapulco was a special edition or equivalent to a US Signet (top of the range). This one looks a little too plain for me |

Agreed but it's still a Valiant and not a Lancer |

I agree with car nerd. A Valiant and not a Lancer. |
