I find it very unlikley that so many highly trained law enforcenment officers can be so inept at driving.

You are totally right, and that makes the car chase also very unrealistic and stupid.

This whole movie is incredibly unrealistic and stupid. The action is complete crap, the CGI looks laughably phony and the anorexic female "assassin" is the most annoying and unconvincing character in any film ever.

Some of these are actually different models. Someone should check the model years.

They're chiefly 1998 models, identifiable by chrome bumper trim and doorhandles. The one in the sixth thumb (and on the right in the fourth thumb) is a 1999-2000 model, whereas the one in the last thumb is another 1998 model but with a 2000 replacement grille.

Last one also looks like a civilian model made up to be a police cruiser.

We really don't need to document every single Crown Victoria that was ever made.

Actually, the last car looks to be a police unit, too, as it's got a spotlight.

I’m not tired of Crown Victorias, just beyond sick of seeing the 1998+ model.

What would I give to see a 1992, 1993-94 or 1995-97 in (non-crashing) action again.

Still a lot of them on the road down here, usually driven by the elderly. Check about a bunch for sale over here.

From what I see only 1998-1999s were used by the tail lamps, trim, door handles.
