In the foreground two Datsuns/Nissans, or? Two different Sunnys, I think. |

To the left is a Datsun 310, and to the right is a Nissan Sentra. The Sentra is listed here: /vehicle_349460-Nissan-Sentra-1985.html -- Last edit: 2010-11-13 21:35:14 |

In Germany both models were named Sunny. |

Script at the front fender under the trim does indicates 1983 model year only. |

I thought the US Datsun 310 was a Datsun Cherry in Europe? |

UK Cherrys were 100A/120A/F11; the 1977 F11 looks similar to the 310s on the site but it would need a Datsunologist to confirm. |

There's confusion because the Datsun coded B-310 was called Datsun 210 in America. It replaced the Datsun B-210 and was succeeded by the Nissan Sentra. These were known elsewhere as Sunny. The US Datsun 310, was the N-10 code. It replaced the Datsun F-10 in the US, and was replaced by the Nissan Pulsar. |

Oh, sorry, the left one was also called Cherry in Germany: Link to "suchen.mobile.de" But somewhere and somehow I've seen this car, badged as Sunny, too. But when and where The name Pulsar was never used here. And the third one on the list, the white Cherry K, irritates me, too. AFAIK there were called Sunny. The pic in this ad is not original, the seller took a pic of a sales brochure. Here are the Sunny's: Link to "suchen.mobile.de" P.S. Sentra's are unknown in Europe. Otherwise the name is listed at mobile.de. Both cars are newer ones and offered in Poland. Maybe sold only there under this name? Or an US-import? 130rapid recently has mentioned, that private imports of new or newer US-cars are not uncommon in Poland. Link to "suchen.mobile.de" to our Polish members! We could need a little help with translation P.S. @an_unusual_eye: something special on the market? Link to "suchen.mobile.de" -- Last edit: 2010-11-15 12:28:41 |

Definitely, US import. You have been given nice samples of used but fresh US-version cars imported to Europe by Polish trades. Yes, Sentra was never offered in Europe by official Nissan net. |

karoomay and night cub pretty well got it in line i think (as they usually do). ~ U.S. branding for these would be: Datsun 310 [N10] on the left, 1979+, and Nissan Sentra [B11] on the right, 1982+ for the body style, but shown to be 1985+ for the U.S. by the composite headlights evident in the image on the page that was established for the car itself. -- Last edit: 2010-11-17 00:42:39 |

@ingo most interesting to see the clearly U.S. spec '75/'76 280z coupe listed... and that the percentage of ZX 2+2 models is so high compared to the 2 seaters. here, the coupes out number the 2+2 models significantly. |

Ingo - According to Wikipedia's listing for the Sunny, the later Pulsar/Cherry models were sold as Sunnys in Europe starting in 1987. "Although the Nissan Pulsar range (N-series family) was a separate model line with different heritage from Sunny (B-series family), for various reasons the Sunny name was—in some markets—applied to various Pulsar vehicles. The Sunny name was used on the Pulsar N13 series in Europe from 1987, and was a successful model." |
