It's not a Coupe or a Freccia D'Oro but a rare 4-door "fastback" based on the 6C 2500/SS and with an unusual grille. If not a 1-off at most a handful made. Design cues probably make this a Pinin Farina. Front grille is a taller version of this Link to "www.rmw.lv" while rear body fenders and general design point to this Pinin Farina Coupe Speciale Link to "www.coachbuild.com" . So that would make it a 6C 2500 SS Berlina (Speciale?) Pinin Farina but the search is still on.

for me it's an Alfa 6c 2500 "freccia d'oro" (see grille) with a berlina body, or a long chassis (4 doors) Probably a 1949 model, 1st Alfa after the war, which may explain the characteristics of before and after the war... but which designer (4 doors) : Pininfarina Bertone ; Boneschi ? or a concept car ??

strange ... but interesting :)

Ah! I see you got something there -3rd car down from top right in your link. Has the right body and even wheels -wheels we already see in other PF's of the period. The Strada Buia car only differs in chrome and rear door being suicide. So a Pinin Farina almost certainly but what special name ?? If it had one.
Wish we could see the front of the car in that link - I cannot find a single car with this exact grille going that high. In any case I wouldn't call this a Freccia D'Oro-based Berlina because it lacks the "hump back" all Freccia's have... I wouldn't bet against it though!

edit: Definitely a PF 4th and 5th thumb just about show period Pinin Farina badge on front fender -this is from the Speciale coupe of the same period: [Image: 2500speciale.jpg] and from the normal production Berlina [Image: 2500pf.jpg]

Alfa Romeo 6c 2500 "golden arrow", probably a model 1948-49 by Pinin Farina (if logo is right)
-> here we see this rare model with 2 "inverted" doors

Close but note "hump" rear, longer rear overhang compared to movie car: [Image: 6c_stradabuia.jpg] [Image: alfa-romeo-6c-2500.jpg].
But I think I got it: It's a Berlina by *Farina* not Pinin Farina! Back, front, c-pillar details, indicators all small details match: [Image: 2500_berlina_farina_a.jpg][Image: 2500_berlina_farina_b.jpg]. Took part in 1947 CdE in Rome. So maybe 1946-47 which makes sense as these large grilles were mostly abandoned by the end of the 40s.

Well done :king:

I must admit, the front (face) is not particularly pretty (comparing to other models at that time), but the side is rather pretty :)

Thanks. I agree I'd like that grille about half of that myself. Probably the few (or one?) cars that they made don't exist anymore that's why there are no later pictures whichever way you search! Or forgotten somewhere under haystack?
