Only just noticed this, but there appear to be two cars; the one that goes crashing in the bushes has the plate FWA 357, black rims and light-coloured convertible top.

ELA 176 was London, Sept-Dec 37; FWA 357 Sheffield, May-Aug 38.

A three star rôle for a fifteen year old car that only cost a couple of hundred quid when new! Because the post WW2 shortage of new cars in U.K. persisted for another two or three years, this car was probably worth more £s numerically than the first owner paid.

My Dad ordered a new Morris Cowley in January of 1955, it was delivered in October.
