Custom Made... |

It is a replica of none of the 18 Phantom IVs that is recognisable. I suggest that “Replica” should be replaced by “Mock-up”. |

You could hackney an extra pair of doors into a Triumph Mayflower and it would look prettier! |

You might be right Gamer, it has a look of Austin Princess about it. I wonder... The exhaust system seems to have been cobbled up out of Hoover parts. |

Wheels look smaller and wider than 1950s, more like something modern. Convincing bumpers with SC1/SC2 knobbly bits?? |

Most of the ‘50s smaller bodied cars had 16” wheels, with 6.70 tyres on the Bentley VI/Dawn sized cars. Wraith had 17” wheels with 6.50 tyres, except lwb which had 16” with 7.50 tyres. All Silver Cloud/S Series Standards had 15” wheels with 8.20 tyres. P IV had 17” wheels with 7.00 tyres. Not certain if this would be visible. The front wing air intakes are 50s, as is the front wing design. No visible fuel filler, should be flap in n/s back wing (U.K.). 4.5L R-type/Dawn has twin exhausts, one each side, expensive, I can tell you! S-types had only single exhaust system. -- Last edit: 2021-02-18 22:25:05 |

It is a Silver Wraith LWB Special Limousine by H.J.Mulliner, made especially high due to the length and girth of its first owner. |
