The Japanese signage on the door suggests that this is a used bus from Japan converted to left hand drive. |

I'm liking that idea... Too bad the bus is repainted so I can't make a guess as to what bus company operated it |

This bus must have it's body transferred, meaning the original body was discarded, so this mid-80s body could replaced the old body of this bus, as it's license plate indicates it's originally from 1981-83. |

Do bus operators in the Philippines do that? Or do they fiddle the paperwork? |

It depends when the buses arrive here, but this is surely a transferred body, since the original one could be from another make. |

And another funny thing is, I texted LTO for this vehicle's data. The make is actually a mid to late '70s Hino. But the body it uses is from a MitsuFuso. |
