On the page the name "Eagle 01" seems to also work for the New Silver Eagle Model 01, it would be shorter :o

Shorter, yes, but not correct.
'Eagle' was part of the model name at frist for the busses made by 'Kässbohrer' ('Golden Eagle', 'Silver Eagle'), then for those made by 'La Brugeoise' ('New Silver Eagle'). 'La Brugeoise' was renamed 'Bus & Car' and produced the 'Eagles' for the US market until 1976. From then on they were made in the US under the marque name 'Eagle'. At that time already the model 05 was produced, meaning there is no 01 that was produced in the US. As 01 and 05 looked rather similar the name Eagle is generally used -- just like all the Jeeps, which only recently became a marque.

They are all Eagles regardless of where they were made or by whom. Just like the RTS was made by GMC, then TMC, and then Nova. But they are all RTS buses. Same thing with Eagles. Every bus from the Kässbohrer on up to the current Silver Eagle Bus Manufacturing is still known as an Eagle. So to call it a Bus & Car is incorrect. To say it is an Eagle made by Bus & Car is correct.
