On the left. I always forget the name of that car with weird rear-pillar.

Hey, don't quote me on that 1995 model year. I only said 1995 because I know this generation goes from 1992-1997, and it looked newer than a 1992. So, for all we know, it could be a 1992 (or 93 or 94 for that matter), but I doubt it, since this movie was made in 2007 and that car looks much too nice to be a 15 years old.

Well, the unwritten rule we have is to just default the years. You never know, maybe the owner keeps it in good shape :D

I think he meant "newer" concerning the details, not the shape of the car (wouldn't matter much if it was a 1992 or 1995 in 2007), and I'd agree with him - something does look rather "modern" about it. Any MN-specialist?

That Cougar is definitely a '94 or '95. The tail lights give it away.

1996-1997

Based on the lower body cladding and the chrome trim on the rear bumper and the sides.

...and, there's the "Badgeless" Taurus between the Cougar and the 500.
