US cars of that era usually are interesting, at least nice, but this one looks really horrible.

Agreed on 1952 Super. However it seems to have a 2-pieces windshield that no 52 Buick still had. Maybe GM had some leftover 1950 bodies that they used for cars sold overseas. It's true that many 51-52 GM cars were not the epitome of design. That is worsened here by a strange non-standard two-toning. I've seen some on french Buicks or Oldsmobiles of those years (like in "Tirez sur le Pianiste"). I guess it was another nicety offered to european customers.
