I agree it's not the summit of American design... 1952, most probaby a Super [56C], of which 6904 were built. I couldn't find the difference with the Special [46C] of which only 600 were built. |

Agreed on 1952 Super. However it seems to have a 2-pieces windshield that no 52 Buick still had. Maybe GM had some leftover 1950 bodies that they used for cars sold overseas. It's true that many 51-52 GM cars were not the epitome of design. That is worsened here by a strange non-standard two-toning. I've seen some on french Buicks or Oldsmobiles of those years (like in "Tirez sur le Pianiste"). I guess it was another nicety offered to european customers. -- Last edit: 2008-01-02 10:47:12 |
