This is most likely to be a modified Massey Ferguson combine (I would like to suggest a 540 or 550 - see Link to "www.todaystractors.com" or the pics at http://www.lavoieequipement.com/inventaireenglish.asp). This would mean that these scenes were not shot in Italy (but probably at one of the UK locations?) as MF did not sell there at the time if I have it correct? |

These scenes were definately filmed in the UK. The only exterior scenes filmed in Italy were those of the house Martin and Katie lived in and the scenes of Martin being killed by Guthrie. |

That is MF 520 (or 620) as you can see the "20" still visible in pictures. |
