Early 80s, before proper J imports restarted in 85. Oct 80 shield bonnet badge, old style wing mirrors, wheels look strange with cream paint and maybe different hubcaps from usual - may not be original. With 60s colours it looks like a fake attempt to create a 60s Cooper lookalike, possibly from a 1000 HL or early Mayfair. |

That is a Post 1982- Mk5 mini. the paint is the original Island blue, found on many mayfairs of the era. Wheels are the stock 12in steel wheels (painted white) with the stock hubcaps removed, and a Japanese aftermarket 60's 10in style hubcap installed. This is not a 60's replica, but rather a 1982-1988 Mini Mayfair with 90's aftermarket mini parts installed. |
