That is Chevrolet model alphanumeric. In this example, Lxx is Impala series and the xx numeric is for the body style. |

When the Bel Air was discontinued after 1975. In 1976 you could get Impala with a special grille that was supposed to commerate the bel air. In 1977 the bel air was retrieved so the L69 was discontinued. So it was a 1976 only. Look at the blue one in over the edge. This one is a odd one. |
