Sure does. jfs nailed the main elements and I put the final cherry on top. Sidelight position is usually the strongest clue without seeing the headlights |

You know my feelings about over riders, they are retained by one 12mm nut usually. One spanner and ten minutes! The nut may be half inch, or even 5/16 Whitworth, not sure when these were metricated. A division of GKN used to make the bumpers, as well as the mini rear subframes, beer kegs and lots of other stuff. I do take the point about not wanting to use things to make a car look older, but an SC2 with small over riders is still not an SC3. Now those front wings and lower bonnet/shorter grille, that’s not a small job. Not sure if you could modify the bonnet height on an SC1, the six cylinder engine is very tall, as I can tell you from experience. -- Last edit: 2020-12-01 12:37:11 |
