| I don't know when the export really started, but Italian-market CFs were built in Portugal. The GM plant in Azambuja closed about a year ago. |

| I found information that indicates 1977 as the first year of CF's production in Portugal. By its square rear numberplate ( rectangular ones were introduced in 1976 ) this must be an older one. |

| It appears to have the smaller door handles as used on the HA van so between 1970-1973. After 1973 the CF had its own design of handle. |
