Turbo R launched in March 85, replaced (Mulsanne) Turbo although there was an overlap until Sept 85. |

1986 was the first year for them having the front plate higher up, though I struggle to find any confirmed specimans of the Turbo R with the old plate. Could be that they had this from the start, could be that it only applies to a few months production. Doesn't help that nearly every one has been modified now with the 1989+ features.
