Probably not Mayfair as too much black trim, but late 1000 E (= UK Mini City) with Aug 88 wheel covers and headrests. |

I only know HLE name as very short-lived renaming of 1000 HL in April 82, which was then upgraded to Mayfair in Sept 82. But am open to ideas that HLE name could have been revived in late 80s for Italy; it seems to have tints which is unexpected for normal 1000 E/City. |

I don't know much about Minis, but according to price list dated 4 September 89 from Quattroruote October 89 issue, there were the following versions, from cheaper to higher: Mini Flame, Mini Racing, Mini Mayfair, Mini 30 and Mini Mayfair automatic. Not sure if earlier that year there were other versions. |
