I wonder if it's the 1935 example BXY 525 from National Motor Museum which has same tan interior, but now whitewalls and no 3rd headlight. BXY 524 was another Speedster also "very likely supplied by the Auburn concessionaires RSM Motors" but a darker mid-colour. BXY series was London, May 35. |

Since the filming location, Theatre Royal Portsmouth, Hampshire is only 40 miles, less than an hour, from the National Motor Museum Beulieu, its likely it was the BXY 525 car. |
