I believe that's a shadow, Lateef. All Land Cruisers had that nameplate on the front fender sides and I don't see one, here. Also, front fender top ornaments were standard on all Land Cruisers and State Commanders. (That feature was optionally available on Commander Regals and all Champion models.) In addition, the subject car has rubber rear door gravel shields. As such, we are dealing with a Regal-trimmed model here and it could be either a Champion or Commander. BTW, the car in the last thumbnail appears to be a different car, a 1950 model. |
