The Terraplane was a separate make in 1936, not a Hudson model.

I know that, but I assumed that's how they were marketed in the UK, hence these listings:
/vehicle_667423-Hudson-Terraplane-Six-1936.html
/vehicle_660650-Hudson-Terraplane-Six-1936.html
/vehicle_896998-Hudson-Terraplane-Six-1936.html
/vehicle_1037695-Hudson-Terraplane-Six-1936.html

And since nobody was correcting them in years, I thought that's correct in the UK??

This was sold in U.K., according to my book, as both Hudson Six and Terraplane Six. Assembled in Chiswick, and various local coachwork available on some models.

I'm 99% certain it's this TVS 128 registered 1937 example, however, according to the DVLA, it's called 1937 Hudson Terraplane (it says even here on another photo).

Unfortunately, my favorite brochure site has been on a bug mode for the past few days and I can't access it, so I can't compare the two, but if my hunch is right, then these side hood louvres were unique for Terraplane's only? I recall the side hood louvres were slightly different on Hudson models.

I know the book jfs mentions and have relied on it several times, so am not going to disagree with it. Or him. Glass's lists everything under Hudson make, including Essex and Terraplane models of various types. Neither Essex or Terraplane are listed as separate makes. I've now exhausted my envelope of knowledge on these - it was only a small envelope.
