It's indeed a Maserati, but I think it's a 1957 A6G/54 2000 Coupé by Frua, one of two built. If I'm right, it may be the one built in 1957 with chassis #2194 that was black with a blue stripe and had a blue leather interior. Its whereabouts seem to be unknown.

This is a great find by "sixcyl" and a very good identification by "rpcm", and it is the only photo document for the lost #2194 so far. It documents also that #2194 was a Coupé and not a Spider (as some sources erroneously reported). Thanks a lot!
