2 litre six cylinder engine in the Herald chassis. What do you think? The earlier cars had a 1600 cc version of the engine, but the later 2 litre did 0-60 in 11 second and over 100 mph. It was quicker than the Spitfire, and the Spridgets. I think Triumph were scared to put the full cream engine in until the double jointed rear suspension was developed.
