Probably. First glance suggested slightly more Oxfordy, but no info they were sold in CDN. So Cambrian is fine.

White looks like Viva HB.

Front end looks 99% similar to the Volkswagen Typ 3.
I would've believed someone/you if they said that if it was a Volkswagen Typ 3.

If you had ever seen one for real, you would understand what utter rubbish you write.

It was the way the BROWN car was shown in the photo that made me think that. It was the positioning of the headlights, the crease in the middle, and the way the front bumper and end are shaped.
Be more polite next time.

Do some proper research next time and I might consider it.

I can see where Matthew is coming from with this particular image. You probably don't care what I have to say, but it wouldn't hurt to apply your people skills from time to time, John.
I remember a case a few years ago where the roles were reversed: /vehicle_1288683-Fiat-124-Station-Wagon-124AF-1971.html

I have been annoying people for nearly 76 years, it’s unlikely to change.

Jolly good, thank you for your kind response. I am always here to be of assistance, except that it may not be immediate for the next 4 weeks as I shall be receiving radiotherapy.

Thanks. It’s for prostate cancer, they tell me that the treatment should be able to provide a cure, but I might find the twenty days of therapy a bit stressful. Your good wishes are most welcome.

Some observations:

The Austin Cambrian had the chrome trim to the front of the bonnet. This car looks to have the trim further back with what could be a badge in front?

The Cambrian, Cambridge A55 Mk2, and the Oxford V had thicker chrome parts of the front grille which ran above and below the indicator/sidelight units, which don't seem present on this car?

Although could just be down to the way it has photographed, I would expect "Farina" bumpers to be 'heavier' than they appear here?

A Cambrian/Cambridge A55 Mk2 would have chrome trim running from below the window to the swage line on the rear door -used as a 'break' on cars with two-tone paintwork, which does not seem evident here.

I do wonder if it could be a Canadian-built Peugeot 404, but this car could have rear 1/4 lights?!

I went through it for a different form of cancer 23 years ago, aged 33. I had a bl**dy good surgeon!

My turn to say blimey! I think that sort of diagnosis at 33 must be a a bit of a shaker, well done!

I'm fairly sure it's an ADO9, but seems they also tried to sell the Oxford S5 in US at least
[Image: carlife2.jpg]

- no info if this meant CDN as well. Bumpers look exact match for ADO9 - on ADO38 the over-riders were moved outwards to sit under the headlights. Maybe Oxford S5 gives better match for side trim and bonnet bits??
