pilou ◊ 2007-11-27 20:54	This is not a Pontiac Catalina model 2119 .It is a Canadian built 1960 Pontiac Strato Chief 4 door sedan built on the Chevrolet frame.It can be recognised by its narrow wheel track visible on this picture with the rear wheels quite recessed inboard compared to the body .The American Pontiacs had since 1959 the " Wide-Track" design with a five inches wider track chassis and the wheels came closer to the wheel arches.Because of those quite inboard wheels these cars looked somewhat odd.The Strato Chief was the basic series in Canada , the other series being the Parisienne and the Laurentian.It must be considered as a specific Canadian car.
